Dr Nadeem Abbasi graduated in 1988 from Dow Medical College Karachi. He passed his FFR from the Royal College of physicians and surgeons Ireland in 1996. He had higher training in radiotherapy at prestigious institutes in The UK and Ireland including Royal Marsden Hospital, London and Christie Radium Institute in Manchester. Presently he is working As Chief Radiation Oncologist and Associate Professor at Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi; he is a Director of the Residency Program, a Member of the Research Committee and Quality Improvement and clinical adult. He is also a supervisor and Examiner in radiotherapy oncology of CPSP.

Dr. Abbasi has contributed immensely to improving Post-Graduate Medical Education by developing a structured study plan for post-graduate trainees. His greatest contribution has been the initiation of Multidisciplinary Tumor Board Meetings in most cancer centres in the North and South of the country.

He has travelled widely and participated in workshops nationally and internationally including the UK, USA, India, Canada, and Kenya..... and has been an investigator in international clinical trials.

His main interests are IMRT and Confermal Radiation Treatment of various tumours and capacity-building workshops.

He is Life Member of the Radiological Society of Pakistan and General Sectary and Executive Councilor of the Pakistan Society of Clinical Oncology (PSCO)
